(More customer reviews)This fryer is supposed to internally regulate itself to keep within 10 degrees of the desired temp... what a crock! I had it up to the highest temp (375), and it fried foods terribly, so I got out my candy thermometer: the highest temp it got to (and this was measured in the so-called "hot zone") was 350, and it was more often than not in the 325 range. Use a candy thermometer in a high-sided pot. This product was a terrible disappointment.

(More customer reviews)This is my second DeLonghi Roto-Fryer and I love it as much as the first. I have tried many others but none come close to the even frying temperatures, crispness, and quality of the foods prepared in this machine. A word of caution, DO NOT let this fryer get submerged in water, or let the frying element get wet! Be very cautious when cleaning the fry pot, to ensure that water does not drip or leak into the element base! That is what caused my to my first DeLonghi fryer to stop working.

(More customer reviews)First, this is a great scraper. It's big and heavy, certainly overkill for my 24" griddle (so I love it). It's big enough to handle a commercial hibachi grill. It's actually a NEMCO N55825, and ReStockIt sold it for a good price ($33.74 plus $8.15 shipping).
Problem is, this was listed as "new", but it arrived pre-assembled and without any packaging. In addition, the single page of documentation that came with it indicates it should have come with a 6-pack of replacement blades. It didn't.
After 2 days, the response from ReStockIt was "this is how it comes from the manufacturer" (right), and that since the item description doesn't indicate it includes replacement blades, they are not responsible for those. They did, however, issue me a 15% credit for "poor packaging".

Since water boils at 212 degrees F (except at higher elevations) you can determine the thermometer's accuracy by placing it in water that's just beginning to boil. Mine reads about 195 in boiling water, therefore I know to add approximately 15 degrees to get an accurate reading of what I'm cooking. I also use it to monitor the temperature on my grill.
