(More customer reviews)After assembling the cook, the hose attachment would not attach to the burner assembly, I had to use a tap set on the burner to get it connected. The SS pots are thinner than I had thought. But the cooker cooks really well. The price (on sale) was reasonable compared to the other brands with SS pots. If you can find another brand around this price ( with SS pots )I would definitely consider it for the pots. As far as the propane burner goes it's fairly descent and except for the problem I mention earlier, I would recommend it.

I have had an aluminum tall 40 qt for nearly 15 years, and paid more for that back then and the lid was EXTRA. But this pot is a Dream. You can stir the contents without having to take it off the burner,the contruction is exquisite,beautifully heat conductive, and cleanup is a BREEZE, Unlike my previous pot which you could not leave anything in it overnight to cool else the thing would Pock and ruin it, BUT THIS POT ROCKS! I could not be HAPPIER!!!

I love this thing.
It is so nice to get away from the thin walled turkey fryer style pots.
Heavy walls, great valve and clear thermometer.
I am using this with a Bayou Classic SP10 High-Pressure Outdoor Gas Cooker.
The handles get hot from the cooker so have pot holders ready if you need to move it.
unless you already own some, buy some larger channel locks to put the thermometer and ball valve on.
Even with Teflon tape I get a bit of leaking around my ball valve, just had to REALLY torque down on it to tighten it.
This only happened at high heat.
Made a great batch of all grain.

It weighs about 6 lbs. and has a "brushed" finish like you see in a stainless steel sink as opposed to shiny like silverware. The dimensions in the product description are inaccurate; it's approx. 13.5" wide x 13" tall (not counting the lid).
If you're looking to economize, this is a good choice. I'm sure it will work fine. If you can spare a little more, I'd go with something heavier gauge.

The burner delivers a lot of heat to the pot, and there is plenty of regulation available for the burner. However, I'm disappointed in the thinness of the pot material as I hoped for a more sturdy pot. Some apparent tousling during shipment caused a significant dent in the pot, but I was able to pop it out. Bottom line, though, this is a terrific value, about 40% lower than if I had purchased all components separately.

(More customer reviews)I ordered the pot for a craw fish boil this weekend. I received the item on time, but the pot was not very well made. The strainer handle broke off when I attempted to lift the first batch of craw fish from the boiling water. Also, the rivets on the lid handle do not appear to be finished (they were just punched straight through) and look to be the next piece that breaks.
Amazon also does not give you the option to contact this seller. Very disappointing.

King Kooker 30-Quart Stainless Steel Turkey Pot Package Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this pot for homebrewing. It is certainly adequate for that purpose, but there are some things I wish I had known ahead of time. First, the bottom of this pot is "raised" (not flat), making it unsuitable for use on an electric stove. Second, the pot is much taller than it is wide, which helps with boil-overs, but makes it a bit awkward to handle, especially for things like lifting into an ice-filled sink, or pouring the wort into the fermenter.
It gets the job done, but now that I've used it a few times, I don't think I'd recommend it as a brewpot.
(Also, the lid is not as-pictured. It's cheaper than the one shown here.)

(More customer reviews)Works fine. Nothing fancy here. Comes with Eastman's Wing Sauce which a lot of people seem to love more than Hooter's sauce. Pot fit nicely into my turkey fryer stand so I can make a mess outside instead of inside. I found more of Eastman's wing sauce at my local Gander Mountain outdoors store. Maybe Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops carry the sauce too. FYI, found a nearly identical, off brand fryer at Menard's for $15 (w/o any sauce--big deal) after I paid 35 plus tax at Dick's Sporting Goods.

King Kooker 60-Quart Aluminum Boiling Pot Review

(More customer reviews)A 60-quart pot is the perfect size for steaming a full, packed bushel of blue crabs on an outdoor propane burner. The KK-60 is a heavy-duty aluminum version that is well-made, has a nice-fitting lid, and heavy-duty riveted handles. The included boiling basket is also ideal for large seafood boils and frying very large turkeys. At last inquiry, King Kooker does not make a steamer plate for this pot, so for steaming crabs, you'll need to raise the included basket a few inches with either stainless steel carriage bolts or some other kind of spacer (there's plenty of room under the lid).
Aluminum pots used for steaming crabs will pit eventually due to the salt, so to prolong its life, you'll want to wash it immediately after each use. In the long run, a stainless version like the Bayou Classic 1060, 60-Qt. Stainless Fryer/Steamer with Vented Lid is the way to go, and I've seen the Bayou Classic sold with and without a basket. This King Kooker does do a fine job at a reasonable price; and it's of course lighter in weight.
I have seen two versions of the KK-60 sold locally that were both 60 quarts but were slightly different dimensions. The photo shown above is actually a much smaller (15qt?) pot.

(More customer reviews)This double burner cooker is functional enough and good value. I use it for homebrewing. The burners produce a strong flame due to high pressure propane. The build of the unit could have been sturdier-It is a bit delicate.
My other double burner is a Camp Chef which costs almost twice as much, but has low pressure burners which are great for cooking. They are not as suited as the Bayou burnes for homebrewing.
