(More customer reviews)I bought this item for my father who is like me and loves cast iron cookware. He is basically a gourmet cook and has every gadget in his kitchen, you could think of. But, he doesnt have this! So, I thought great birthday gift for the man who has everything. He loves it! He said it is huge in size and can feed an army, but cooks well and can hold anything you plan on cooking from stews to fish to gumbo, etc. Goes from stovetop to oven, and back again. Cleans up great with some hot water and a stiff brush and a little seasoning to keep it rust free. I bought myself one and can hardly wait until it arrives!

This cast iron fish fryer and casserole pot measures 16. 5 inches long x 8. 75 inch wide x 3. 75 inches deep on the inside. A fun raised crawfish motif is displayed on the lid. Oxo Good Grips Candy/Deep Fry Thermometer Review

(More customer reviews)I usually like Oxo products, but this one is a real loser. Not only does it not give accurate readings (which in itself should deem it useless, being that it is a THERMOMETER after all) but there are other features that further enhance its horrible design. First of all, the "handy" (so they claim) spin dial that allows you to set the temperature that you want to reach, is so flimsy that the slightest movement of the thermometer throws the dial off. Useless. Secondly, after only one handwashing, water seeped under the dial face which is impossible to get out. The water then turns to steam which fogs up the display so you can't even read its inaccurate readings. 2 weeks later there is STILL steam under the dial. Useless again. And to pour salt on my already stinging wound, I had emailed Oxo to inquire about how to return this item and get a refund weeks ago, but they have yet to respond to me, even though on the package it states that satisfaction is 100 percent guaranteed. Well, I am NOT a satisfied customer and if my second attempt to reach them proves fruitless once again, then I doubt I will ever purchase another Oxo product again, no matter how good they are. It pains me to even give this product one star, as a product that's utterly useless deserves no star at all. Oxo should be ashamed of themselves. Thanks for allowing me to vent my 2 cents.

She has KitchenAid cookware & needed a large red fry pan. They are not easy to find. I would rather have been able to get one with a handle that was not metal, but Kitchenaid is a good product.

(More customer reviews)IRON PANS ARE GREAT, BUT THIS PAN WASN'T SEASONED PROPERLY. IT SEAMS AS IF THEY RUBBED SOME GREASE ONTO IT, AND CALLED IT SEASONED. I EVEN PLACED THE PAN IN THE OVEN TO HELP SEASON IT MORE, AND ALL I GOT WAS A LOT OF SMOKE IN MY HOUSE. IT TOOK HOURS TO GET THE SMOKE OUT.
I ALSO FIND THAT THEY RUST VERY EASILY. MY OLD, OLD PAN WORKS PERFECTLY. I WIPE IT OUT WITH A DAMP DISH TOWEL, USE A PAPER TOWEL TO DRY IT, AND IT IS READY TO USE.

However, the burner stopped heating your food automatically after just 4-5 mins' heating, then it heated up again after 3-5 mins' silence. I couldn't use this burner (even you choose the 1000 Watt burner) to cook my noodle soup in a normal way. So if you want to cook something quickly without any break in between, don't buy this stuff.

(More customer reviews)This is a very high-quality frying pan; restaurant quality. The only issue I have with it is that it is very heavy. Fortunately for me, my boyfriend does most of the cooking, but I do a fair amount of the cleaning. The pan is too big to fit in our medium-sized dishwasher. It's large size is nice for cooking certain dishes, but also means that I must wash it by hand. It washes nice and easy with a solid non-stick coating. However lifting it up to rinse can be a bit of a strain on my wrists, given its weight.
