(More customer reviews)First of all, this PC is gorgeous to look at! It also is a very nice size for one or two people and for cooking all kinds of vegetables, small meals, etc.
It is SO easy to use! I'd never used a stove top pressure cooker before and in less than five minutes I had all the information I needed to be able to cook on my range with ease and confidence.
If you've used the old rocker-style cookers you'll love how completely quiet this unit is.
I'm amazed at how easy it is to prepare quick meals that taste as good or better than those cooked the conventional ways.
Edited to add: Since I purchased this cooker I have ordered THREE more Kuhn Rikons in different sizes.
I have used this small cooker almost daily since its purchase and I don't know how I managed to cook for so long without it. The smaller size is fabulous for vegetables and smaller meals.
I've cooked beets, carrots, chicken Marsala, Lentils, Red Beans and Rice and countless other dishes. Everything has been just wonderful. I love having the larger sizes for stocks and stews and soups as well.

Taylor 509 Connoissuer Line Candy-Deep Fry Thermometer Review

(More customer reviews)There's really not much to it when you consider a candy/deep-fry thermometer. It needs to be functional, accurate and durable. I find that this thermometer succeeds in these areas. It is also easy to clean and easier to read than the typical cage thermometer. Unlike the other reviewer, I didn't experience any problems with the thermometer resting on my deep-fryer. I found the design to be more than adequate. Unfortunately, it is made in China, but I looked around for months for one that was made elsewhere and couldn't find one. The Taylor cage thermometers are also made in China, but if you read the reviews here at amazon and other places, you'll see that there are issues with the painted numbers on the scale wearing off. No doubt this thermometer is constructed by the same quality-indifferent folks, however nothing on this particular device needs to be submerged in the oil/candy except for the tip of the probe.
I really wish this was made in the USA, and that's the only complaint I have.

Bacon cooks crispy in a short amount of time and the pan cleans with ease. A paper towel over the bacon keeps the microwave neat and spatter-free. It is dishwasher safe but not necessary to waste electricity for an item that is so easy to wipe clean with a little soap & h2o and no elbow grease. Think I'll take a 3-minute break from this review and make some bacon!

(More customer reviews)I love the size of this pan but it simply will not heat! I cooked pancakes in it and they would not brown. I deep fat fried okra and it took 45 min. on high till they browned and were so tough they were difficult to chew. Almost burned my stove up. I never cook anything on high heat! Tried to fry bacon in it. Wouldn't do anything. I switched pans and it immediately started sizzling. I do not recommend this pan!

(More customer reviews)Works fine. Nothing fancy here. Comes with Eastman's Wing Sauce which a lot of people seem to love more than Hooter's sauce. Pot fit nicely into my turkey fryer stand so I can make a mess outside instead of inside. I found more of Eastman's wing sauce at my local Gander Mountain outdoors store. Maybe Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops carry the sauce too. FYI, found a nearly identical, off brand fryer at Menard's for $15 (w/o any sauce--big deal) after I paid 35 plus tax at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Eastman Outdoors 38084 Oil Filter Pump Review

(More customer reviews)This oil pump is exactly what I needed. Moving the oil from my turkey frier back into the containers was a messy operation, at best. This pump makes it much easier to do without spilling. The pump works quickly.
UPDATE: After using the pump many times, I'm still very happy with it. I never want to go back to pouring oil again.
Storage: I wondered if it would be hard to store the pump, but actually, I keep it in the closet! It doesn't stay messy or drip oil for days like you would expect. Just follow the washing instructions and it ends up being clean enough to bring back into the house.
