(More customer reviews)This fryer is junk, to begin with it was short parts and the pans were bent because of shabby packageing and cheap box. When cooking with it you have to keep adjusting the heat as it won't hold an even tempature, one pan will get hot and the other too cold, you adjust it and it goes the other way, one reason for this is the paper thin pans that won't hold any heat. The directions for assembly are very scant. Again this fryer is junk, I will not recommend to anyone.

Ideal for picnics, potlucks, neighborhood block parties, and other outdoor events, this 30-inch propane cart features two 54,000-BTU cast burners and recessed framing that firmly supports the two included rectangular-shaped aluminum fry pans. The cooker provides one frying basket that fits neatly inside one of the fry pans, plus two smaller frying baskets that fit side by side in the other fry pan for cooking up French fries, chicken wings, onion rings, and more. Heat-resistant loop side handles on the pans ensure safe transport, while long, heat-resistant handles on the frying baskets make it easy to safely lower or raise food from hot oil, keeping hands and arms a safe distance from splatters and potential burns. The CSA-certified unit attaches to its fuel source with LP hoses and a regulator outfitted with a type-1 connection (propane tank sold separately). Even more, each burner supplies a brass needle valve for individual flame control, which makes it easy to gently fry fragile doughnuts or dumplings on one side while preparing crunchy drumsticks or deep-fried corn dogs on the other. Additional highlights include two deep-fry thermometers for checking oil temperatures at a glance, durable construction, and two smooth-rolling wheels for simple transport. The UL-listed outdoor propane cart measures approximately 19-3/5 by 24 by 32-2/7 inches.

Deep fryer was well made except for 2 items. Cord to plug into pot would not stay in and fell out at the least movement of the pot. Plugged cord in as instructions said and no way would it stay in, cord is very defective. Also did not like the filter system. Old T-Fal fryers had the best system and why they changed it, have no idea. Old filter system was best. Very disappointed in this fry pot that was supposed to replace my old T-Fal fryer which was totally worn out. Purchased this pot off 1 review and apparently they did not have this problem as no mention of cord being a problem. Returned this pot at my expense to Cooks.com. Hopefully they will refund the return postage as I had to pay postage for it being sent to me so I will be out the postage at least once I hope,.

(More customer reviews)At first, I loved this little deep fryer. It is perfect for one person, easy to clean, and easy to use. But I went to use it yesterday and it would not turn on. I checked the power, which was working fine. I only used it the day before and it worked just fine. I've only had this fryer for a month and a half. Of course that's just long enough for Amazon's 30 day return window to expire and leave me without any recourse. There is no warranty on the fryer either, which I did not pay attention to when I made this purchase.
Bottom line, stay away from E-Ware deep fryers. They don't stand behind their products.

It functions as described; capacity is great; holds its temp well; its good-looking; its not *too* bulky, tho it is a big fryer; drain plug is very useful; the filter system protects the kitchen from grease and keeps the grease clean and re-usable; it is also easy to take apart and clean thoroughly. The only negative on the machine itself is that the digital display is hard to read, but I had anticipated that issue based on reviews I read previous to my purchase. However, I was expecting a 're-conditioned' product based on the description from the seller. When the package arrived, the cookbook was literally DIRTY with food from a previous owner and the box had someone elses carpet fiber and hair stuck in the tape that sealed the box--very unprofessional on the part of the seller, I think. The fryer itself seemed unused, so I printed a new cookbook off the website, threw out the dirty box and I kept the fryer-- and I'm glad I did.
